Resident Permits to US Citizens

The number of resident permits granted to US citizens has hit an all-time record, exceeding the number granted to those from the UK.
According to the European Commission, in 2022 12,229 US citizens were granted a first-time resident permit* to live in France. That compares to 9,214 in 2021.
