What are the vehicle registration taxes that apply in 2024?

On the registration of a new or second-hand vehicle in France taxes are payable.
The main tax on all vehicles is the taxe régionale, but there are also two other taxes on new vehicles. The liability to these taxes depends on the pollution level and weight of the vehicle.
